John T. Gaffigan, Vice-Chief Executive Officer

John T. “Jack” Gaffigan retired as a sergeant from the St. Louis Metropolitan Police Department after a 36 year career. He served more than fourteen years on the Board of Trustees of the Police Retirement System of St. Louis, where he was Chairman of the Investment Committee and the Board’s Chairman for five. During that time he also developed, wrote, and taught pre-retirement seminars for police officers and their spouses. Since his retirement he has served as Executive Director of the Badge of Honor Memorial Foundation, where he has written numerous articles on investment fraud, identity theft, and pre-retirement planning, and co-authored a “line of duty” death protocol that is used by police departments across the United States. He received his BS degree in Administration of Justice from the University of Missouri at St. Louis, an MBA from Lindenwood University in St. Charles, MO, and completed the Principles of Money Management course from the University of Pennsylvania’s Wharton School of Business.
